As we commemorate the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against the Tutsi, we stand with all those that lost their parents, children, brothers and sisters, close relatives, friends and fellow Rwandans.
We learn from you a spirit of resilience, forgiveness and tolerance.
We salute men and women in combat/RPA/RDF who stopped the Genocide. We can’t even attempt imagining where we would be as a country if RDF led by Paul Kagame didn’t stop the Genocide.
We say to you the survivors of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide and all those who suffered the effects, that you are our hope of restoration, inspiration of success and pillar of unity and reconciliation.
May the Almighty God continue to shine His Light upon You and Rwanda.
May His divine purposes deep rooted in you to fulfill be your guiding reason for survival and may you be filled with grace to live according to His ultimate purpose in you.
Today we remember as we forever shall.
